Eligibility
The contest is open to all United States high school students in grade nine through twelve attending public, private, charter, parochial, and home schools. Anyone who attends college or a lower-level school cannot participate.
Requirements
1. The contest deadline is November 3, 2021 at 11:59 pm (EST).
2. There is a 1500 word limit for the speech.
3. Every work must be the original work of the student.
4. Essays that are plagiarized, use direct quotes of previous inaugural addresses, or paraphrase quotes from previous speeches will be disqualified.
5. All essays will be submitted via email at thejudiciousjournal@gmail.com. In the email text box, type in your name, school, and grade.
